As a component of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity's National Service Program, Each year Missouri City Alumni gives a one-time annual scholarship of $1,000 to graduating high school seniors participating in the Achievers Scholars Award scholarship contest.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial needs to students with outstanding academic records.

Recipients are chosen by the Scholarship Committee. Each participant is required to submit a package consisting of the application, a typewritten composition concerning a topic chosen by the Committee, a high school transcript with a 2.5 accumulative grade point average, two letters of recommendation from his or her school, church, or community leaders.

The Scholarship is opened to all graduating high school seniors of the Missouri City/Sugar Land Metropolitan Area who have been accepted and made a commitment to attend a 4-year college or university in the following fall school semester.
